For Open Space
... to protect our open space, parks, and preserved farmland. From Lake Minsi to the Appalachian Trail, from Jacobsburg to the Delaware & Lehigh Canal, our parks and farms not only make Northampton County a better place to live, they drive our economy forward.
Against Warehouses
... to stop the unchecked growth of warehouses in Northampton County, dragging down our quality of life. The warehouses and the excess truck traffic they create have left us with unsafe roads and some of the worst asthma rates in the country. The people of Northampton County deserve good paying jobs, and their kids deserve to play outside and breathe clean air.
For Housing Affordability
... to ensure that Northampton County families can continue to grow and have a place to live on their middle class salaries. This includes both home-buyers and renters -- both groups are struggling to make ends meet because housing costs are out of control.
Against Division
... to keep County Council focused on working together to solve real problems. We all deserve a government that doesn't waste time on in-fighting, but gets stuff done for the people who elected it.

PROTECTING THE RIGHT TO VOTE
In Pennsylvania, elections are controlled at the county level.
It's more important than ever to make sure we have elected leaders in county and state government that believe in strengthening our democracy, protecting the right to vote, and ensuring an accurate count.
Northampton County Council can ensure that everyone is able to exercise their right to vote and that these votes get counted; Council can ensure there are sufficient machines and paper ballots; Council can work with the Executive to implement processes to make voting easier and more efficient.
